I know this is a long time an upgrade has been released. But this
version has been working on my computer for more than a year now, so I
think it is quite stable to be released.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
BED Arexx Handler (BAH) version 4.0.3
This program has been created to be used with any version of Blacks
Editor text editor by Marco Negri and Paul Schifferer providing
completely configurable toolbars. Toolbars can be configured through
simple ASCII files that allow the user to create windows with the
wanted layout.
Changes since last version uploaded on Aminet (3.7).
- Nested frames completely suppported! Panels can be organized into
horizontal and vertical frames that can be nested. That means complete
freedom in building panels.
- Configuration syntax slightly changed to allow the building of nested
frames. Old simple configurations should remain compatible.
See @{"configuration" LINK "config"} section for more information.
- New iconification method similar to BED's one.
- New About Arexx command (Wow :) )
- NEWLINE keyword now optional in some cases (less pedantic, clever
parser).
- Primitive, but nevertheless useable, icon browser to see the icons
used by a document.
- Small internal optimizations (mostly OOP related stuff).
- Developed under WinUAE 8(
BAH is released as a CARDWARE program, so I just ask you to send me a
postal card of your country and to contact me at my e-mail address if
you have access to the net. Very cheap I think! Your feedback will
make me decide if it is worthwile continuing the general development
of this program or just enhance it with the features *I* need and not
bother uploading it on Aminet again (or just sent updates only to
those that have reguraly contacted me, by snail-mail and/or e-mail).
My english is far from being perfect.
If you find errors, please feel free to report them to me.
------------------------------
I hope this program will be somewhat useful for you as it is for me.
Sincerly
Mauro "M&F" Fontana
